Master Carpenter, Patrick Kiernan, is founder and president of Artane Woodwork.  Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, he discovered his passion for finishing carpentry as a teenager and has been refining his craft ever since. Patrick excelled in his training and apprenticeship and was asked to start teaching at a young age, but he knew his desire was to create and build. That's what he's been doing for 40 years.

Patrick is known for his attention to detail and fine finishing work.  His experience includes:

Experienced, reliable and professional are words commonly used to describe Pat. Due to his excellent craftsmanship and easy-to-work-with nature, he has many long-term relationships with home owners and long-standing contracts with large companies. In fact, when you enjoy a hot drink at one of the most famous coffee empires in North American, you are likely to see some of his work.

After following various career opportunities throughout Europe, Pat chose Calgary to be his home in 1993. Shortly after that, he met and married his wife and is the proud father of two children. He is devoted to his family and his craft, but you can also find him enjoying life on the football field or golf course.
